Scott Blake believes yoga is for everyone and that each person can find a practice that works for them. He first came to yoga years ago while recovering from old injuries, and what began as a means of healing grew into a lifelong daily practice that continues to strengthen his mind, body, and spirit.
For Scott, yoga is not just movement but a way of living. He believes we are designed to move, and through both practice and study he has found that yoga provides a framework for life off the mat as well. This practice has offered him balance, resilience, and emotional strength through life’s challenges.
Scott has been fortunate to study with inspiring teachers, including Caitlyn Graham Visconte and Renee LeBlanc at YogaWorks BackBay for his 200-Hour certification, and Nicole Siegel, Allison Jones, Daniel Orlansky, Josh Summers, Karen Fabian, Shawn Cornelison, Katie Concannon, and Esteban da Cruz at Wonder Yoga for his 300-Hour certification.
Outside the studio, Scott enjoys playing soccer, skiing, biking, being walked by his dogs, and spending time with his family.
