It has led me to discover a love of powerlifting sports, fitness, and mindfulness practices, like Yoga. Through massage, I have increased my body awareness and thrive in finding new ways to care for myself.I am achieving balance between movement and stillness. Ayurvedic Massage
An Abhyanga is ancient Indian massage from the traditional system of eastern medicine, Ayurveda. It’s also known as the science of longevity with a plethora of detoxifying and nourishing healing modalities. Practiced for thousands of years, this massage has its own long list of benefits because built into the technique is marma point therapy, lymphatic drainage and lubrication of the joints and skin.
Oils are selected based upon the season and your specific Ayurvedic constitution. The oils are a customized blend of infused herbs and botanicals and are applied with pressure and rhythmic strokes. This practice is an art and a ritual designed to rejuvenate your unique constitution, improve and deepen sleep states, increase circulation, mental alertness, nourish the skin and tissues, and promote detoxification.
