Myth + Mantra: Stories Behind the Shapes

Vinyasa, Mantra, and Philosophy Practice

Led by Amanda Vallimont

Sunday, September 21 | 4:00–5:15 PM | Wonder Yoga

Yoga poses are more than physical shapes. They are living stories, passed down through mythology, mantra, and symbolism.

In this immersive 75-minute workshop, Amanda Vallimont will guide you through a dynamic Vinyasa practice interwoven with tales from yogic mythology and the mantras that bring them to life. You will move through familiar postures with a fresh perspective, discovering how archetypes, gods, and legends appear in the poses we practice every day.

This workshop is perfect for students who want to connect their movement practice to something deeper: curious minds, soulful movers, and anyone ready to add meaning to the mat.

LEAVE WITH:

  • A deeper understanding of how myth shapes yoga
  • New mantras to bring into your own practice
  • A richer connection to the spiritual roots of asana

No chanting experience required. Just bring your openness and curiosity.
