Early December is a time of beauty, excitement, and joy. Amidst the hustle and bustle, it’s essential to pause, breathe deeply, and take care of ourselves. Embrace the serenity of this enchanting season with our specially crafted retreat.

Join Marca Katz and Nicole Siegel for a 3-night, 4-day journey to nurture your soul, rejuvenate your body, and forge meaningful connections with both old and new friends. Nestled in the tranquil beauty of Northern Vermont, our retreat at Good Commons Retreat Center promises an unforgettable experience.

Schedule of Activities

Thursday: Arrival and Welcome

  • Afternoon: Arrive, settle in, and enjoy a light snack.
  • Evening: Early evening yoga class followed by a delectable dinner.

Friday to Sunday: Embrace the Day

  • Morning: Begin with a light breakfast and invigorating yoga practice.
  • Afternoon: After a beautiful lunch, enjoy free time to:
    • Hike through scenic trails
    • Explore local shops and antiques
    • Indulge in a massage at Good Commons (extra fee applies)
    • Tour a local brewery
    • Relax in the hot tub or by the fireplace
  • Evening: Regroup for a gentle yoga session followed by a relaxing dinner.

Sunday: Departure

  • Morning: Conclude your stay with a light breakfast and a final yoga session.
  • Late Morning: Depart feeling relaxed and restored.

Comfortable Accommodations

Enjoy cozy lodging with shared bathroom facilities, ensuring a comfortable and intimate stay. Choose from a variety of room options to suit your preferences:

  • Room 1: 2 twin beds – $840 each
  • Room 2: 2 twin beds – $840 each
  • Room 3: 1 full bed – $860, 1 twin bed – $840
  • Room 4: Private room, 1 full bed – $1100
  • Room 5: 1 full bed – $860, 1 twin bed – $840
  • Room 6: 1 king bed – $975, 1 twin bed – $840
  • Loft Area: 5 twin beds – $825 each, 1 full bed – $845

Note: Room preferences should be emailed to hello@wonderyoga.com. Please specify any specific roommate requests or preferences for one of the two single-use rooms.

  • Payment Options: Pay in full or place a $300 non-refundable deposit for your chosen accommodation. Full payment is required by September 12, 2024.
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • Full refund available if you cancel more than 60 days before the event.
    • 50% refund if you cancel within 60 days.
    • No refund within 30 days unless your spot is filled.

Meet Nicole Siegel: A Path to Authentic Wellness

Nicole Siegel, the proud owner of Wonder Yoga, is an experienced yoga teacher and movement therapist with 20 years of experience in the Greater Boston health and wellness community. Nicole embraces holistic modalities to empower her students to connect with their authentic selves.

Movement has always been integral to Nicole’s life, evolving from dancer to movement therapist to yogi. Her passion for whole-body wellness drives her ability to connect mind, body, and spirit through breath, movement, and self-study. She continuously strives to let go of internal chatter and external distractions to simply be.

Nicole holds a master’s degree from Lesley University in Dance Movement Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. She received her 200- and 300-hour yoga teaching certifications through the Yoga of Energy Flow. Residing in Arlington Heights with her husband, son, and their beautiful dog Scout, Nicole is dedicated to guiding her students on their journeys to holistic health and authentic living.

Meet Marca Katz: A Journey of Strength and Serenity

Marca Katz‘s yoga journey began 12 years ago, during a time when she was juggling marathon training, teaching step classes, and raising her three sons. Seeking a low-impact yet challenging activity, she was drawn to yoga for its physical benefits but found herself continually returning to her mat for the profound mental and emotional rewards.

Marca’s passion for yoga led her to complete a 200-hour teacher training at Down Under School of Yoga in Newton/Brookline, under the guidance of Kate Heffernan and Natasha Rizopolous. She further deepened her practice with a 300-hour training at The Boston Yoga School with Ame Wren. Her educational background in nursing and exercise physiology enriches her teaching, providing a foundation of knowledge and care.

In her classes, Marca emphasizes alignment, breath, and flow. Her intelligently and creatively sequenced sessions encourage students to honor their unique bodies, listen to their inner voices, and practice safely and mindfully, both on and off the mat. Marca is dedicated to sharing the transformative power of yoga, helping her students find balance, strength, and serenity in their lives.
