Spring Awakening: An Ayurvedic Workshop for Renewal and Vitality

Join us for a transformative Ayurvedic workshop designed to harness the vibrant energy of Spring and restore balance to your body, mind, and spirit. As the season of renewal unfolds, this workshop will guide you through ancient Ayurvedic practices that align with nature’s rhythms to enhance vitality, promote detoxification, and cultivate inner peace.

What to Expect:

  • Introduction to Ayurvedic Principles: Learn the basics of Ayurveda, including the doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) and how they influence your health and well-being. Understand how to balance your dosha in Spring to support harmony during this dynamic season.
  • Spring Detoxification Rituals: Explore Ayurvedic detox methods such as gentle cleansing diets, herbal teas, and oil massages (Abhyanga) that can help eliminate toxins and revitalize your system.
  • Seasonal Self-Care Practices: Discover simple, effective practices such as mindful eating, yoga, breathwork and meditation to help you reconnect with your body and embrace the energy of Spring.

Whether you’re new to Ayurveda or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop is designed to support your journey towards greater wellness in the Spring season. Step into the season of renewal with intention and discover how Ayurvedic wisdom can lead you toward a vibrant, balanced life.

Katie Concannon

About 15 years ago, shortly after beginning her corporate career, Katie discovered yoga—and it quickly became essential to her life. Yoga grounds her and helps her stay connected to herself and others. Although she initially enrolled in teacher training just to deepen her personal practice, something shifted after graduation. Katie felt compelled to share what she had learned, and that marked the beginning of her teaching journey.

Katie’s curiosity about holistic health began in her teens, leading her to explore various diets and alternative practices. When she found Ayurveda through her yoga community, it felt like coming home. She immersed herself in the study, incorporating daily routines, seasonal cleanses, and greater environmental awareness. In 2017, she enrolled in the Down Under School’s 200-hour Ayurveda Fundamentals Program, and later joined their first 650-hour Health Counselor Program. For Katie, blending Yoga and Ayurveda has been the most inspiring shift in her life, and sharing these practices now feels like a true calling, not a job.
