Join Wonder Yoga co-owner Nicole Siegel for a workshop exploring the foundations of a yoga practice. A consistent yoga practice can provide so many benefits such as a stronger, more flexible body, reduced stress, increased ability to focus and feeling more comfortable in your skin.
This 2 hour workshop is designed for those new to yoga and for those who are interested in refining their foundation. In Yoga 101 we will explore the basics of a vinyasa flow practice, working on proper alignment and learning ways to modify the physical poses (asanas) to accommodate any body type. We’ll sample some of the common forms of breath-work (pranayama), discuss different styles of yoga so you can determine what is right for you and include an introduction to meditation.
