For Amanda Vallimont, yoga is more than a series of poses. It is a way of life and a path toward strength, connection, and inner calm. She first stepped onto the mat in search of flexibility and physical strength, but what she discovered was far more profound. Through yoga, Amanda found peace of mind, tools for easing anxiety, greater self confidence, and a joyful connection with others. For her, yoga is both grounding and expansive, offering calm in a chaotic world while amplifying what is already good in life.
Amanda’s classes are designed to challenge and uplift. She encourages students to look inward for truth, outward for support, and to move with breath and intention. Her teaching weaves together strong poses, fluid transitions, and moments of stillness so students can hear the quiet wisdom within themselves.
Amanda completed her 200-Hour training with Rolf Gates in 2014 and her 300-Hour training with Jacqui Bonwell in 2018. She is certified to teach Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Meditation, with additional certifications in Balanced Athlete Level 1 and Reiki Level 1. These trainings, along with years of practice, continue to shape her holistic approach to teaching.
Off the mat, Amanda is a high school administrator, enthusiastic sticker collector, and mom to a budding young yogi.
