Join yoga instructor and ayurveda health counselor Katie Concannon for a workshop that integrates these two sister sciences.
We’ll begin this workshop with an introduction to the ancient science of Ayurveda to learn about how diet, lifestyle, and the four seasons can impact both your body and mind. We will talk about the varying body constitutions classified in Ayurveda and how to start identifying yours. We’ll go over some tools for healthy living based upon your personal constitution and what may be out of balance. We will also discuss specific techniques to stay balanced as the weather shifts, including recipes most appropriate for the spring season. Daily routines to stay in alignment will be reviewed, followed by a springtime balancing yoga practice.
This workshop is open to all levels of yoga students – no previous experience is necessary.
