What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is an ancient holistic healing system that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. Katie Concannon

Katie has been deeply immersed in the study of Ayurveda for the past decade. She graduated from the Boston Ayurveda School in 2018 and earned her certification as an Integrative Health Counselor from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in 2024. In addition, she is an ERYT 500 certified yoga teacher, specializing in Vinyasa and restorative yoga, and teaches at various esteemed studios in the Boston area, including Wonder Yoga.

Katie’s upcoming workshop is a unique blend of her extensive knowledge in both Yoga and Ayurveda. Drawing from her personal journey and professional expertise, she will provide participants with a holistic approach to wellness. The content will be richly informed by her deep understanding of these ancient practices, offering practical insights and techniques to enhance both physical and mental well-being. Whether you are looking to deepen your yoga practice, explore Ayurveda, or find balance in your daily life, Katie’s workshops are designed to guide you on a transformative journey.
