Shawn Cornelison joins us for a second amazing workshop, Yoga for a sore back. Are you experiencing a chronically tight or sore back in your yoga practice and would like to find relief? Are you an instructor who is running out of things to tell your students to do and want to have real answers? This is an opportunity for you to grow your understanding of how the lower back can compensate for other muscles that are week or inhibited. It is also a chance to explore the relationship between the lower back, hips, shoulders, core and breath. This is more than a workshop on stretches and poses to release the tension. This is a chance for you to completely change your relationship to these parts of your body and learn the skills to manage the how they function. We will use breath, movement, and stillness to navigate the body and discover a pain free range of motion that can be increased over time. This workshop is for people who can comfortably get onto and up from the floor.
Pre-registration is required for this event. This workshop is suitable for all levels. Please bring your own yoga mat and bottle of water.
