Purvi first discovered yoga at university and practiced it sporadically, primarily as a mechanism for stress and pain management. Over the years yoga became integral to maintaining a sense of balance. She completed her 200-hour certification with Health Yoga Life in 2016. Yoga continues to bring Purvi the gifts of self-awareness, compassion, and confidence on the journey to realizing the authentic self. Her passion for sharing the wisdom and transformative power of yoga is the motivating force behind her desire to empower students to connect with their inner guide through asana, breath, mindfulness, and meditation. Off the mat, Purvi is an environmental engineer and works in the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs and loves to dance (particularly belly dance, kathak dance, and Latin styles), spend time with her dog (Sachi), and actively connect with family and friends.
