Learn more about essential oils in this workshop designed to calm, educate and inspire. These naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. Essential oils provide plants with protection against environmental threats and play a role in plant pollination. In addition to their intrinsic benefits to plants, essential oils have long been used for food preparation, beauty treatment, and health-care practices.
Our workshop will begin with a 75 minute aroma flow led by Nicole Siegel and Allison Jones. Settle in with a breathing exercise supported by an amazing doTERRA blend called Breathe. As we enter the more active part of class, place a drop of Peppermint oil at the top of your mat to stimulate and inspire. As we make our way to final relaxation, we’ll apply a drop of another amazing blend called Balance to the soles of our feet. Emerge from savasana feeling grounded and refreshed. No previous yoga experience is necessary.
The yoga class will be followed by a presentation from Jess Lourie– Wellness Advocate and Expert from doTERRA. She is the creator of Light and Lotus and is making a special, rare appearance at Wonder Yoga. She’s a therapist, Wellness Coach and mother who shares her passion for doTERRA full time.
