Grace began her professional journey in human resources employee communications, where helping others understand their health and wellness resources inspired her to shift her focus to mental health and embodied therapies. She went on to complete a 200-hour teacher training and began her master’s degree training in holistic mental health counseling at Lesley University. To refine her knowledge about how to best support her students and future clients, she completed an additional 100-hour certification with Kate Graham in yoga for anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Grace’s approach to wellness places great emphasis on the mind/body/spirit connection and her class sequences are inspired by the same. She focuses on building classes in support of an environment that offers her students the freedom to become aware of and honor their physical needs, emotional needs, body mechanics, and goals while exploring the edges of comfort and growth. Through breath, movement, and reflection, she encourages curiosity and welcoming the ever developing authentic self.
