As an army brat, lifelong musician, artist, martial artist, and theatre artist, my journey into Yoga has been full of wonderfully rich explorations into a variety of arts and movement disciplines. (adammclean.bandcamp.com)
Prior to earning my 200 Hour Teacher Training in Bloomington, IN, I was an Assistant Professor of Movement and Stage Combat at Indiana University in the Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance. I’ve also taught Movement, Acting, and Stage Combat at Boston University, Emerson College, and Florida State University. And although I still hold the status of Certified Teacher and Fight Director with the Society of American Fight Directors, I have retired from academia and have moved to teaching Yoga to as many people as I can.
After years of teaching at the university level, as a former martial art teacher, and now Yoga teacher, I fully believe in education as service… I find myself gravitating towards how to bring Yoga to anyone to enrich, support, and expand their perspectives on what they do by fully engaging the body, breath, mind, and imagination.
I try to create a class that engages the whole self where you can meet yourself on your mat. I welcome any levels, age, experience to come to class and discover what lies beyond your expectations!
