You’ll have bi-monthly homework and reading assignments to reinforce the teachings and your understanding of the material. Our program features modules on yoga philosophy, history and lifestyle; yoga anatomy; sequencing, verbal cues, modifications; chakras and energetics; pranayama; functional movement; teaching methodology; prenatal yoga, vinyasa, hatha, gentle, restorative and power yoga; ethics of teaching yoga; meditation; teaching workshops and private yoga lessons; building your yoga business and more.
Upon completion of our program you will have an excellent yoga foundation and you’ll be certified to teach yoga. You will have a solid base of theory and practical hands-on experience behind you. You’ll grow, be challenged and supported to find your voice and lead with your best, most authentic self.
Pre-recorded videos will be dropped to your inbox on a bimonthly (every other week) basis. Attendance at all of the live online sections is highly encouraged although all sections will be recorded in case you need to watch it after the fact. In addition to attending the live online sections and completing the homework you’ll need to attend 10 yoga classes at your local yoga studio, 10 online yoga classes at Wonder yoga (the cost for these 10 classes is built into the tuition fee) teach 5 online yoga classes via Zoom (with instructor feedback) and pass a final open book yoga exam.
