Alyssa Hale-Prettyman is a 500 hour certified yoga instructor who has been teaching in the Boston area for over 10 years. Beyond traditional power yoga, Alyssa has certifications in Yin, Meditation and Balanced Athlete and teaches a myriad of different workshops that help make yoga accessible for people of all shapes, ages and abilities. Alyssa’s classes are known for her focus on safe alignment, injury modification, ability modification, light heartedness and fun playlists. Her power classes will offer an accessible challenge and her restorative classes will offer the deep, relaxing time-out so many of us need in the modern era. In addition, students will find an interesting blend of yoga philosophy and modern-day scientific education woven throughout classes for a deeper understanding of the “whys” and “hows” that make yoga such a powerful experience – inside and out.
In her spare time you will find Alyssa snuggling with her two crazy kiddos, working her day job as a creative director for a marketing firm, cooking or trying to convince her husband they should do another family camping trip.
